Although rainy season is coming soon, there're plenty of places to visit in Ikebukuro area. Sunshine City for shopping, kids amusement. Please check out their recently renewed aquarium. Otome Road for Manga related shops. Electrical appliance stores and famous department stores by the station. The basement food halls in the department stores are hot places to see.
