Very nice ryokan in a good location
I wanted to stay in a traditional hostel during my first trip to Japan.
Meiryu is a nice place to stay, very close to the Kamimaezu subway station.
The room was very comfortable and the staff is very friendly (although only one of them speaks English).
Bathrooms are nice and clean, and the experience of communal showers was quite special for me (although I was alone most of the times).
The man at the reception is very friendly and helpful.
He gave me a lot of nice recommendations on places to visit, and even gave me some advice about culture and language.
